Privacy policy
The short version: this site works without knowing who you are. No accounts, no tracking pixels, no data sold to anyone. Last updated 4 July 2026.
What we collect
Weight Loss Medication Compare is a static website. You can read every page without registering, logging in or telling us anything. We do not collect names, addresses, health information or payment details, and we have no user database.
What your browser stores
If you switch between light and dark mode, your preference is saved in your browser's local storage under a single key. It never leaves your device, and clearing your browser data removes it. We set no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
If you write to hello@weightlossmedicationcompare.co.uk, we keep the correspondence for as long as needed to deal with your message and maintain a record of corrections. We do not add you to any mailing list, and we do not share your address with anyone.
Analytics and hosting
Our hosting provider records standard server logs (IP address, page requested, time) for security and capacity purposes, as almost every website's host does. If we add privacy-respecting analytics in future, this page will be updated first to say exactly what is measured. Page typography is served by Google Fonts, which means your browser requests font files from Google's servers when a page loads; Google's own privacy policy governs those requests.
Outbound links
Links to pharmacy and clinic websites take you to services with their own privacy policies, which apply from the moment you land there. The destination site may recognise that you arrived from here, but no personal information about you is passed by us, because we hold none.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have rights of access, rectification and erasure over personal data an organisation holds about you. In our case that will normally be limited to any email you have sent us. To exercise these rights, or to raise any privacy concern, email the address above. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Changes
Any change to this policy will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date. Material changes will be flagged on the homepage.
